Betjemen House, 104 Hills Road, Cambridge CB2 1LQ (no children under 16 permitted on the premises)

BIDDING STARTS: Wednesday 15^th January from 10 am.

BIDDING CLOSES: Friday 24^th January at 12 noon.

PLEASE NOTE: this sale will use ‘auto bid extension’. If a bid is placed with less than 10 minutes remaining (for that specific lot) the end time automatically extends by a further 10 minutes. This will keep occurring until there is a 10 minute period with no bids.

Successful bidders will be notified by email after the sale.

TO BID: you will need to register with Bidspotter and then sign up for the specific auction you wish to bid on.

No allowances of any description whatsoever will be made in the event of problems arising as a result of failure to view. We do not warrant the functionality of any item. You are advised not to bid on any lot unless you have viewed to your satisfaction first. The photos and descriptions should not be wholly relied upon for the purpose of bidding.

EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY: The auctioneers shall not be liable for any expense, loss, claim or proceedings in respect of personal injury to or death of any person arising out of or in the course of or caused by the Sale, except to the extent that the same is due to the negligence of the Auctioneers, their sevants or agents.

BUYERS PREMIUM: The purchaser will pay a buyers premium of 15% plus VAT in addition to the hammer price. The premium is not negotiable and will be paid by all buyers

VAT: All lots in this auction are subject to VAT in addition to the hammer price at the current rate.

OVERSEAS PURCHASERS: All purchasers intending to export their purchases will initially be charged VAT until satisfactory evidence of export is received by Cheffins. Where satisfactory evidence is not provided, goods will be subject to UK VAT and no VAT refund will be applicable.

AUCTIONEERS’ RIGHT TO ANNUL SALES:  In the event of any dispute or refusal to pay or of non-payment on the part of the purchaser, the Auctioneers may, entirely at their discretion, annul and cancel the sale of such lot or lots.
