Description
1 x Dutch TecSource hydro tower system. All stainless steel, slicer or cutter system complete with vacuum pump infeed and out feed conveyors also stainless steel holding tanks and gantry. S/n 2011-0419. The great benefit of this fully automatic system is that the tower can be included in the line and no manual labour is required for the vacuum process. Another advantage is that the mushrooms can be washed first before starting on the vacuum process. The tower operates using the principle of Torricelli's tube. A vacuum pump is used to create a 10-metre column of water (absolute vacuum at the top). Mushrooms are fed in at the bottom of the riser tube and then, because fresh mushrooms float, they rise 10m to the surface of the water. There is an absolute vacuum at the top of the tower, and the vacuum time is controlled by a screw conveyor. The descending tube starts at the end of the transport screw. Water injectors are used to force the mushrooms to sink. Once the mushrooms have sunk completely to the bottom, there is a ten-metre column of water above them and the mushrooms are fully saturated. Cost new approx. £80k. (Located South East England).

- Viewing by appointment ONLY through the auctioneers.
Notes on Bidding
- Where items are combinations lots - Please note you can bid for individual lots or for the plant as a whole. Accordingly your winning bid for individual items cannot be confirmed until the outcome of the combination lot has been determined.
- Overtime bidding - Bidding will be extended on individual lots if bids are placed within 10 minutes of the items end time.
Clearance
- Timing - 14 August 2015.
- Please note that goods must be collected by the date stated in timings above. If no date is given collection must be within a maximum of 4 weeks from the date of auction. Failure to do so will result in a storage charge of £100 per week per item.
- If buyer to remove (BTR) - upon request we can provide a price from our contractors to disconnect and load onto your transport
- Appointments for collections - cannot be made until full payment has been received. We operate a strict booking in service. Upon receipt of cleared funds you will need to liaise with our Site Manager to arrange a mutually convenient collection date. The Site Manager's number will accommpany your invoice.
