Description
1 x Abco blancher. All s/s. Previously used on mashed potato. The product is retained in the heat chamber for a relatively short period of time until it has absorbed sufficient heat to complete a blanch. It is then transferred to the hold chamber where it is poled in a deep layer and held for approximately heat dwell x 2. The absorbed heat is allowed to equilibrate throughout the product enabling it to reach the desired centre core temperature to complete the blanch. Blanching is a function of heat and time to allow this heat to penetrate to the centre core of the product. As the heat is constant (steam at 100C) the dwell times will need to be adjusted to suit the size of the product being blanched. The larger the cross section of the product to be blanched, the longer the dwell time. Bed dimensions - 2.59 m long x 1.27 m wide. Would cost new in excess of £250k. LIFT OUT CHARGE £500. - Viewing by appointment ONLY through the auctioneers.
Notes on Bidding
- Where items are combinations lots - Please note you can bid for individual lots or for the plant as a whole. Accordingly your winning bid for individual items cannot be confirmed until the outcome of the combination lot has been determined.
- Overtime bidding - Bidding will be extended on individual lots if bids are placed within 10 minutes of the items end time.
Clearance
- CHECK WITH CLARKE FUSSELLS FOR INDIVIDUAL CLEARANCE DATES
- Please note that goods must be collected by the date stated in timings above. If no date is given collection must be within a maximum of 4 weeks from the date of auction. Failure to do so will result in a storage charge of £100 per week per item.
- If buyer to remove (BTR) - upon request we can provide a price from our contractors to disconnect and load onto your transport
- Appointments for collections - cannot be made until full payment has been received. We operate a strict booking in service. Upon receipt of cleared funds you will need to liaise with our Site Manager to arrange a mutually convenient collection date. The Site Manager's number will accommpany your invoice.
