Our Saturday Auctions originally took place in our local village hall at Ewyas Harold, Herefordshire, which rapidly became a very popular venue. We eventually outgrew the site and back in 2002 we moved to our own Salerooms premises in the middle of Pontrilas village, conveniently situated adjacent to our small estate agency office. The site of our Salerooms was originally part of the Pontrilas Railway Station Yard. The Salerooms have been adapted from a later modern building and part of the original raised track-side warehouse buildings, which now provide spacious, airy Salerooms with two separate Auctions taking place throughout the Saturday sale day.
Our original objective was to operate a traditional Estate Agents’ and Auctioneers’ office that served the local area and beyond, providing a professional service with a personal and friendly touch. Notwithstanding the original aims, the business has moved forward with modern technology and a client base has built up encompassing customers from many far-flung corners of the world.
