This is a No Reserve Auction - each item will be on sale immediately a bid is a placed

Please Note:

1)We will only accept bids from UK based bidders. We do not sell to overseas buyers and do not participate in the VAT Refund Scheme for goods which are exported subsequent to sale

2)All goods are subject to VAT at 20% and to our Buyers Premium of 10% plus VAT

3) We do not accept payment by credit card, debit card or Paypal. Payments may be made by Bank Transfer or in cash ( cash payments are subject to a maximum of £2000 at any one auction)

4)  Payment for goods sold must be made no later than 4:00 pm on Thursday 27th February 2014, and goods must be cleared from our premises by 4:00 pm on Tuesday 4th March 2014. Goods not collected by this date will incur daily storage charges of £10 plus vat per lot per day.

5) Buyers are responsible for making their own arrangements for collection from our premises. WE are happy to provide whatever is needed to help with loading ( including fork lift handling), but if we are required to palletise or pack goods for shipping, this will incur charges. N.B if you arrange to have your goods collected by your courier, it is important that the courier is able  to provide your bidder paddle number on collection

Terms & Conditions for i-Bidder Auction buyers

(1) These Conditions

These conditions, together with any which may be detailed in any other Notice to Purchasers issued with this catalogue, or displayed for the attention of Purchasers elsewhere, are the only Terms & Conditions subject to which Northern Realisations Ltd ( referred to hereinafter as "the Auctioneer"), as Agents for the Vendor, will sell goods to a purchaser (referred to hereinafter as "the Bidder"). All other conditions as may be lawfully excluded, are hereby excluded.

(2.) Auction Practice

The Auctioneer may, at its discretion, or upon the instructions of the Vendor:

2a) Alter or withdraw any or all lots referred to in this catalogue up to the time that the hammer falls in relation to such lots.

(2b) Withdraw from sale any lot upon which a reserve price has been placed, when the highest bid does not meet the reserve.

(2c) Where two or more consecutive lots are similar in quantity and description, offer the bidder of the first item the option of taking the second and subsequent lots, at the same price.

(2d) Each lot shall be sold to the highest bidder and in the event of a dispute arising between bidders, such dispute will be resolved in such manner as the Auctioneer may in its absolute discretion determine.

(2e) The Auctioneer may refuse to accept any bid, or may itself bid on behalf of any Third Party.

(3) 10% Buyer’s Premium

The Buyer will pay the Auctioneer a Premium of 10% plus VAT at the prevailing rate upon the "Hammer Price" of each lot. The Premium is not negotiable, and is payable by all purchasers.

(4) Bidder Registration

.Bids may only be placed by parties who have completed the necessary registration and pre-authorisation required by the bidspotter portal

(5) Means of Payment

The Auctioneer will accept payment by the following means:

Bank Transfer,

Cash( subject to a maximumof £2000 at any one sale ,

 

(6) VAT

The Price at which the Bidder purchases each lot will be subject to VAT at the prevailing rate

The Auctioneer does not operate the VAT refund scheme

(7) Payment and Clearance of Purchases

Payment for items bought at the auction must be made in full  before 4pm on Thursday 27th February 2014

The Bidder will only remove lots from the Auctioneer’s premises at the direction of the Auctioneer, and within the time set by the Auctioneer for the clearance of goods No lots will be removed by any Bidder until that Bidder has settled his account for all lots purchased.

(8) Buyers Risk

The Bidder is advised to effect any insurance arrangement necessary in respect of all risks arising from this tranactions

(9) Warranties

The Auctioneer has used its best endeavours to ensure that the descriptions contained, within this catalogue are correct, and where the Auctioneer is able so to do, any amendment to the catalogue will be published upon the Catalogue Amendment sheet which is displayed and circulated to Auction visitors. The Bidder relies upon such descriptions at its own risk .The Bidder is advised to inspect any lots for which it intends to bid in order to verify the accuracy of the description. The Auctioneer, on its own behalf, and on behalf of the Vendor hereby excludes all liabilities for any loss or damage sustained by the Bidder as a result of , or in connection with , a defect in any lot purchased, comprised in the catalogue, or its addenda, the failure of any lot to fulfil the functions for which, they were intended by the Bidder or any loss or damage occasioned thereof prior to their removal from the Auctioneer’s premises.
