SPECIAL CONDITIONS OF SALE RELATING TO THE AVIATION AUCTION.

1.      These Special Conditions of sale should be read in conjunction with the Buyers Terms Conditions of Sale posted within each individual listing.

2.      VIEWING: Strictly by appointment through The Aviation Auction. Viewing of Lots will be available on appointment only.

N.B. The Auctioneers hereby specifically exclude liability for any accident or injury, howsoever arising, sustained by any person or persons who may attend at the premises for the purpose of the auction, inspection, purchase, collection or any other business.

3.      SALE CLOSES: From 5pm GMT Friday 6th April 2018.  IMPORTANT: PLEASE NOTE THAT WHEN BIDDING DO NOT FORGET TO REGULARLY REFRESH YOUR SCREEN TO ENSURE YOU ARE AWARE OF ALL CURRENT BIDS.

4.      REGISTRATION: To register for this sale please click on the 'Register' link, 

5.      BUYERS PREMIUM: The successful bidder will pay the below listed (plus VAT) Buyers Premium in addition to the Hammer Price.

The premium for this auction is 10% + VAT

6.      VALUE ADDED TAX (VAT) will be charged at 20% on the Buyer’s Premium. Purchasers from overseas should note that the VAT on the Buyer’s Premium is not recoverable.

7.      VALUE ADDED TAX ON GOODS FOR EXPORT: The goods are located in Brazil and being sold by a Brazilian entity. Buyers should be aware that the invoice for the goods will be issued by the Brazilian company selling the items and that Brazillian export laws will apply to the invoice. The Aviation Auction can offer no advice on Brazilian export laws and suggest buyers seek independant advice before bidding. 

8.      PAYMENT: Payment is required IMMEDIATELY by 9th Apri 2018 upon receipt of invoice unless alternative arrangements have been made with the Auctioneers prior to the sale. We accept payments by BACS / CHAPS paid directly into our Client Account. Payment details as follows:

Important Notice - Money Laundering Regulations 2003 - Please note that in order to comply with the Money Laundering Regulations we are unable to accept cash payments in excess of £12,000 (€15,000).

Cheques are not accepted. Bankers draft are accepted with prior approval.

9.      TRANSFERS: The Aviation Auction will not recognise the sale of accounts (or parts of accounts) to third parties and we will only accept payment from and allow removal of items by the successful bidders themselves or their appointed agent.

10.   PURCHASE OF GOODS THROUGH A FINANCE COMPANY: Please notify us well in advance of the sale if you are intending to purchase though a finance company. This is to ensure that the Finance Company is able to make payment in accordance with the General & Special Conditions of Sale.

11.   REMOVAL OF LOTS: The goods are at the risk of the Buyer immediately upon receipt of invoice from the Auctioneers and should be removed by 23rd November 2017. All removals are to be completed STRICTLY by appointment only, appointments for collections of the lots must be arranged with The Aviation Auction immediately after the auction has concluded
