For overseas buyers within the EU

For companies within the EU with a valid VAT number, you will be issued with an Export Declaration to accompany your pro-forma invoice. Once your VAT number has been verified and we have received back from you a completed and signed Export Declaration, we will then issue you with VAT free invoice.

For overseas buyers outside the EU

VAT will be charged and refunded to you upon receipt by us of an original copy of a bill of lading as proof of export.

Payment Details

Payment must be received within 3 working days after the auction has ended. Successful bidders from the Bidspotter website will be registered for a Troostwijk account for the purposes of invoicing. The Purchase Agreement will be sent via email following the auction along with login details.

Collection / Delivery Instructions

Collection must be made between Monday 10th October until Friday 21st October 2016 (weekdays 9am-5pm), by appointment only

TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE ON THIS CONTRACT.  THERE CAN BE NO EXTENSION TO THIS DEADLINE. ANY GOODS LEFT ON SITE AFTER THIS DATE WILL BE SUBJECT TO ADDITIONAL STORAGE CHARGES AND MAY BE SCRAPPED AT THE DISCRETION OF THE SELLER.

 The lots will be sold on the basis of "loaded to the buyers transport".  This service is free of charge and will cover removal and loading to the buyers transport only. It may be possible to arrange container stuffing, export packing and shipping, however this will be at additional cost.

 Contact details for collections will be advised from once the sale has concluded.  Please note the goods will not be released until full payment is received by Troostwijk. In order that the goods can be loaded in an orderly fashion, collection must be made by appointment.

General Terms and Conditions of Sale   

The general terms and conditions of online auctions are applicable concerning the(possible) purchase of moveable assets in addition to these specific terms and conditions. In the event of a contradiction between the general terms and conditions of online auctions and these specific terms and conditions of online auctions, then these specific terms and conditions of online auctions shall prevail.  Combinations

All lots in a combination will be offered individually first and then as a combination lot. If the combination is sold it overrules the individual bids, if not the individual bids are confirmed.

Prolongation

If a bid is made in the last 10 mins before the lot closes then the closing time will be extended by 10 mins. With each subsequent bid the closing time will be extended by 10 mins until no further bids are made.

 Quantity, capacity, dimensions and weight of goods

Where a lot description contains details of quantities, capacities, dimensions or weights of the goods, these data are indicative only and no rights can be derived from this information. Bidders must satisfy themselves as to the accuracy of such data. Although the information contained herein was obtained from resources deemed reliable, the seller and Troostwijk make no warranty, expressed or implied as to the accuracy of the information.

Subject to Allocation

All lots in this auction are offered “Subject to Allocation” because this auction is presented on 2 auction platforms. This means that the auctioneer must approve the final bids prior to the purchase being confirmed. Acceptance of all final highest bids is subject to approval by our client.

Attending an auction closure for Consumers

This is a public auction. This means that if you are bidding as a consumer you have the opportunity to attend the closure of the online auction at our offices: Troostwijk Auctions Ltd, Hydra House, Hydra Business Park, Nether Lane Sheffield, S35 9ZX. You need to be registered on our website if you want to attend the auction closure. Before attending the auction closing, you must inform us no later than 3 working days before the closure by sending an email to the following address: info@troostwijkauctions.co.uk stating the auction number and your buyer number (account ID). You will then receive a written confirmation from us.
