Following registration to bid in auction, buyers will be contacted by William George to provide either proof of funds or a mortgage in principal. Once submitted and found sufficient, their registration will be approved.
The winning bidder will be required to provide their solicitors details along with two forms of identification, including photo ID and proof of address (no more than 3 months old).
Alternatively, their solicitor can write to (William George, Allia Future Business Centre, Peterborough, PE2 8AN) confirming identity. All proof of identity used will be subject to satisfactory verification by William George.
In addition, a payment of 10% (minimum of £5000) of the purchase price must be paid within 24 hours of the auction finishing.
Once payment for the amount noted has been made, all parties’ details and the details of the paid deposit will be entered into the Memorandum of Sale (to be created by William George) and circulated to the buyer’s and seller’s solicitors.
The remaining deposit proceeds, after fees have been taken, will be passed to vendor’s solicitor within 10 working days.
Completion of the property will occur within 20 days from the fall of the virtual hammer between both parties’ solicitors.
